MSTA Training and Accreditation is recommended for all engineers and technicians supplying, installing, maintaining and repairing milking equipment.
There are two Training/Accreditation courses covering the skill and experience required for:
Before you can enrol you need to be registered on the MSTA technicians database. Registration is free of charge.
If you wish to enrol on a Cat 2 or Cat 3 course, please contact us on info@milkingsystems.co.uk and advise which course you wish to attend and your contact details.
MSTA Training Venue
Both Cat 2 and Cat 3 training will be held in person at:
The UK Agri-Tech Centre Midlands Hub, Poultry Dr, Edgmond, Newport TF10 8JZ
MSTA CATEGORY 2 (Dairy Technician)
Block 1: Monday 16th – Friday 20th November 2026
Block 2: Monday 22nd – Friday 26th February 2027
The course will be run over one academic year at a cost of £2,550.00 plus VAT.
MSTA CATEGORY 3 (Dairy Engineering Technician)
In order to study at Cat 3, technicians need to be currently accredited at Cat 2.
Block 1: Monday 23rd – Friday 27th November 2026
Block 2: Monday 1st – Friday 5th March 2027
The course will be run over one academic year at a cost of £2,550.00 plus VAT.
