The first step towards accreditation is to enrol on the MEA Technician Register.
There is no charge to register as an Enrolled Technician.
If, at the end of 6 years, you have not either enrolled for or achieved Category 2 Accreditation, your name will be removed from the register.
Progression to MSTA Dairy Technician
Accreditation, i.e. which can be verified to third parties, requires that you progress to at least MSTA Category 2 (Dairy Technician) through training and assessment, usually by Training/Accreditation at Hartpury College.
Where a technician already has relevant qualifications and experience, it may be possible to apply directly for accreditation at Category 2 (Dairy Technician). Please email info@milkingsystems.co.uk if you wish to enquire about this route.
