Membership Overview
Members are businesses or individuals which supply, install and maintain the milk harvesting equipment essential for every dairy farmer to produce safe, hygienic and healthy milk for consumers. A key mission of the Association is the promotion of best practice in the supply, installation, and maintenance of milking equipment, in the interests of human and animal safety.
There are two levels of Membership:
- FULL MEMBERSHIP
- ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP
Full members are engaged primarily in the manufacture, distribution and supply of milking equipment and associated spares. They work with associate members to provide an ever-expanding range of solutions to the sector. Full members are entitled to representation on the MEA Council which meets regularly to determine policy.
Associate members supply, install, and maintain milking equipment to dairy farmers to keep dairying safe and sustainable.
Member Meetings are usually held annually, offering updates and news on industry issues.
